Why Should White Guys Have All the Fun?
~ by Reginald F. Lewis & Blair S. Walker

Before his death in 1993, Reginald F. Lewis created a global business empire worth over a billion dollars. He was 50 years old.

In celebration of one of the most powerful and successful American businessmen in history, Black Classic Press announces a limited Commemorative Edition of Lewis’s inspiring and enduring autobiography, “Why Should White Guys Have All the Fun?”.

Loida Nicolas Lewis, Filipino American community leader, and widow of Reginald Lewis encouraged the issuance of this Commemorative Edition to continue sharing her husband’s inspiring life story of determination, hard work and triumph. Mrs. Lewis provided the included DVD which features two segments: the American Legacy televsion episode focusing on Mr. Lewis and the tribute video shown at his memorial service.

Also presented in this reissue of “Why Should White Guys Have All the Fun?” is a new introduction written by Lewis’s daughter, Christina Lewis Halpern, and a new foreword by Richard Parsons, former chairman of Citigroup and former chairman and CEO of Time Warner, Inc.

Their remarks are followed by commentary from key leaders in business and education who each have been profoundly influenced by Mr. Lewis’s business savvy and generosity while he lived and in the twenty years since his passing. Among those contributors are Ken Chenault of American Express, BET founder Robert Johnson, Mellody Hobson of Ariel Investments, Deborah C. Wright of Carver Bancorp, and James White of Jamba Juice.

This renewed edition is a living, breathing, continuing testament to Reginald Lewis’s passion for “the deal” and for life itself.
